Happy Fall! As we say gbye to fall and hello to winter, Adam and I are off, with most of the other balboa world, to Eastern Balboa Championships! We’ll be teaching and competing throughout the weekend and can’t wait!!

Happy Fall! (More or less)
Adam and I have just gotten back to our lives (all to briefly) from International Lindy Hop Championships 2011! What a wonderous weekend it was! Not only did Adam win the Balboa Jack and Jill with Natascha from France (for the 3rd year in a row mind you!)…but we won the Strictly Balboa competition! It was a great and welcome accomplishment!

We are also traveling to Switzerland today for Swiss Bal Weekend in Zurich! What a great way to kick off another European gig, new city, new adventures!

It’s June! June is my favorite month of the year because of All Balboa Weekend! This year, Adam and I have the distinct pleasure of not only attending and competing, but teaching at this one of a kind event! We’d like to mention that we’ll be available for private lessons throughout the weekend! If you are interested in scheduling one, please email one of us! We’ll be in town from Thursday late evening through Monday morning!
Our teaching engagements in Europe in March were truly exceptional. Both events were full of inspiration! We’re looking forward to teaching at ABW, and in New Jersey in August. Also, traveling to Switzerland in September for Swiss Bal Weekend!!!

So, fun exciting things coming soon!
In the new year, Adam and I will be traveling throughout the US and Europe to teach! But we’re starting at home! Saturday, February 5th, we’re offering a Balboa Crash Course. 4 hours of balboa bliss! Check out our new Class Registration page for more details and to pre-register and get a 10 dollar discount on prices! Well also be around that weekend if anyone is interested in private lessons!
Next we’ll be heading to Rocky Mountain Balboa Blowout to teach and dance! Hope to see some of you in Denver soon!

Hello! Happy mid-October!
So far this month Adam and I have taught at Canadian Balboa Championships in Montreal which was a huge success and a joy to be a part of. Around that same time, our long awaited Idance.net videos went live! Over the summer, we’d shot 45 balboa lessons for Idance.net with Michael and Jaya and are proud to say they are now available online for your viewing and purchasing pleasure!

Also, November is shaping up to be an exciting month of travel! We’ll be heading to Raleigh, NC to compete and teach at the Eastern Balboa Championships! One of my favorite events of the year:) We’ll be available for private lessons throughout that weekend. Then we’re jetsetting to Munich, Germany the Monday after for a week to teach at Munich Bal and Shag Weekend!!!!!!! My passport is excited:)

Wow, ILHC was such a success! This event is so well organized, and generates such a splendid crowd of dancers that you come to the end of the weekend not wanting to leave. Luckily, this event does a wonderful job of getting the public what they want almost minutes after the competitions are finished on the dance floor. That means that videos are rampant throughout You Tube! Not only did Adam and I place 4th in the Strictly Bal comp along side a great group of dancers, but we represented well in the Jack and Jill competition. I placed 3rd with Patrick Szmidt from Canada, and Adam placed 1st with Mia Goldsmith from New Orleans, LA. Videos also available on YouTube!

Hey all!
This weekend (right now) is ILHC (www.ilhc.com) based in Alexandria, VA! Adam and I will be spending a great weekend dancing and competing with the best crowd of dancers from around the world!
We’ll be competing in the Open Bal Strictly this evening! We’re super excited! ILHC has always been one of my favorite events. With the energy and the organization, it is truly top-notch!
